What a great show last Saturday! The Fiddletown Fiddlers' Jam had a street filled with amazing talent and vendors from near and far. The weather could not have been more perfect for Fiddletown guests to hear Old West songs and Cowboy tales by Cowboy Artist Ron Scofield at the end of the day. He was accompanied by Austin Ford and Gerry Brennan-Soley.

Chinese Autumn Moon Festival🌕🎉

Come to Fiddletown Park from 12:00-4:00 p.m. to celebrate Chinese culture in conjunction with the Chew Kee Store Museum’s Doors Open, a statewide event.

✨Activities in the park will feature a talk at 1:00 p.m. on the August Mid-Autumn and & Mooncake Festival, puppet shows; starting at 2:00 p.m. tai chi, muay thai, and qigong demonstrations.

🥮🍵Enjoy Chinese food, tea, and sample tastes of Mooncakes. Docent tours of the museum will be available throughout the afternoon. Presented by the Fiddletown Preservation Society, preservefiddletown.org.

Fiddletown Fans: The signs are up! The Fiddletown Community Center will be hosting the 72nd Annual Fiddlers' Jam. We hope you join us!

2 Weeks until Fiddlers' Jam!! Come for the Music....stay for the Fun!

Let's talk about parking! If you are coming from the direction of Plymouth, come up Fiddletown Rd about 6 miles. You will see a barrier at Fiddletown Rd. and Jibboom. Turn left on Jibboom. There will be signs for parking in dirt lot on Jibboom. There is NO shuttle at the Jibboom lot and PLEASE, do not park on the street. Once you park there, you will need to walk from the lot to Fiddletown Rd, past the barriers and up towards the main stage. IF the Jibboom lot is full, please continue up Jibboom and turn left on Ostrom Rd. Go up about 1/2 mile and there will be parking at 21200 Ostrom Rd, at the former Moose Lodge. There will be signs to direct you. There will also be a shuttle to bring you to the "Jam" and will drop you off at Fiddletown Rd. and Jibboom. Last shuttle will be at 5:15. Gates close at the both lots at 5:30. Parking is free at both lots, but a $5.00 donation would be appreciated. Parking is limited, so PLEASE carpool if possible. ADA? We will have limited ADA parking. Please ask the Volunteer at the barrier at Jibboom and Fiddletown Rd. and they will direct you.

Came across this patriotic photo of our own beautiful Maggie Jean Osborne of the Fiddletown String Band and Foothill Billies. More importantly her famous chili has nourished the souls of musicians near and far that trek to Fiddletown for the Fiddlers Jam for decades. Her living room has become legendary for the down home jams of Americana music. Happy Fourth of July Fiddletown!

Dubbed “The First Lady of Song,” Ella Fitzgerald was the most popular female jazz singer in the United States for more than half a century. In her lifetime, she won 13 Grammy awards and sold over 40 million albums.
Her voice was flexible, wide-ranging, accurate and ageless. She could sing sultry ballads, sweet jazz and imitate every instrument in an orchestra. She worked with all the jazz greats, from Duke Ellington, Count Basie and Nat King Cole, to Frank Sinatra, Dizzy Gillespie and Benny Goodman. (Or rather, some might say all the jazz greats had the pleasure of working with Ella.)
She performed at top venues all over the world, and packed them to the hilt. Her audiences were as diverse as her vocal range. They were rich and poor, made up of all races, all religions and all nationalities. In fact, many of them had just one binding factor in common – they all loved her.
