Woods & Waters is proud to welcome The Preserve at Crooked Run to our family of marketing partners this season. At this Orvis endorsed shooting venue in Fincastle, Virginia, you'll find a truly unique upland bird hunting destination. If you literally want the Ultimate Upland Experience this fall, book one... Day 1 includes instruction in the Orvis Churchill wingshooting method with a round of flurries. Day 2 features a peg during an incredible tower shoot where 320 birds are released followed by a ribeye steak and bourbon lunch and an evening seminar on preparing wild game. Day 3 starts off with a warm-up round of sporting clays and/or 5-stand shooting followed by a half day of no-limit field hunting with a professional guide. The Preserve at Crooked Run does offer lodging and this package includes two nights. Available dates include Nov. 14-16, December. 12-14 and January 17-19. We hope you'll join us at our next meeting on Tuesday, September 10 from 6-8:30pm at The Preserve at Crooked Run! You can either meet us out there or hop on the Beats Per Mile Entertainment party bus with us at Vinton War Memorial. Bus departs at 5:30 PM.
