A ton of people still remember this moment in music history. The emergence of grunge rock, along with Nirvana, etc. I remember getting Pearl Jam's first two albums as a Christmas gift in 1993 and I remember thinking how different it was from everything I was familiar with. I had never listened to PJ before. It still goes down as one of the best rock albums of all time, and this "Alive" song still gets air-play on the radio.
