Our good friend Kellie Latimer has a great house concert series just West of WImberley. Coming March 25 are two of the finest ladies you will ever see and hear. This is going to be a barn burner, never know what might happen when Tina and Kristi are on the same stage. Check this out and let Kellie know if you have any questions. Hope you can make it. To all our friends who have supported Stallion Springs Concerts over the past 8+ years, Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year. Over the last eight years we have hosted so many great musicians in our back yard. From Walt and Tina for the very first show in 2014, capping off in 2022 with Pat Byrne, we have entertained our friends with talent from coast to coast and even a few artists from Canada. Rock ‘n Roll, Americana, folk, bluegrass, western swing, blues - I think we pretty much covered the bases. After 8 years of hosting musicians in our backyard, we are going to take a break for 2023. We are planning on doing some more traveling, maybe even out of the country, to see more of this big ol’ globe. We are not ruling out a possible “special” event, and if that happens we will definitely send out an email. So stay tuned for updates on our wanderings and alerts for other area musical happenings. We will definitely keep in touch. Tanya and I can’t say enough “Thank You’s” for your patronage and support. We have met and made some lifelong friends, and all through music. We love you all. Peace and happiness!

An amazing way to cap off the 2022 concert season. Pat Byrne (if you have never seen Pat, you’re missing out) played to a packed house under a full moon. Thanks to all those that came out to listen. Your patronage over the past eight years is much appreciated!

Had a great evening of music with Two Crows for Comfort. Don’t think we’ve ever had a duo with such harmonies. Such good stories along with the songs. Thanks to all that came out and enjoyed the evening. We finished the Texas Trifecta last night. Chicken fried steak, fried catfish, and last night Blue Bell ice cream. Cory and Erin are now honorary Texans!

Gary Nicholson put on an amazing show last night in our backyard playing many of his number one Grammy winning hits. What a great evening under the full moon. Gary and his wife Barbara loved the creation Kipling McFarland did for them in honor of his song “God Help America”. Thanks to all the great people that came out to support live music in the Hill Country. Many first timers. And all had a good time and enjoyed the music. Next up Chuck Cannon June 25.

What a great show last night put on by Sophia Johnson and Tiger Alley. From originals to Bob Wills to The Everly Brothers to Roy Orbison, they covered it all. Amazing harmonies and amazing musicians. First time we’ve had a swing/bluegrass band on the stage. Won’t be the last. Thanks to all that came out in support of live music in the Hill Country.

This coming Saturday, March 26, Sophia Johnson and Tiger Alley will be on our backyard stage to play their incredible music for our friends. Phenomenal guitar licks, a blazing hot fiddle and a hard thumping stand-up bass. Can’t get any better than that. Doors at 6:30. Come see us.

So excited to have the Texas music icon Jay Boy Adams coming to play for our friends on August 20th. Jay and his band played here several years ago and drew one of our biggest crowds. Great show, don’t miss this one. Details to follow.

We have added a couple shows to our lineup. Multi-hit songwriter and top-notch singer and storyteller Chuck Cannon will sing for our friends on June 25. On October 25 all the way from Canada we are bringing the award winning duo Two Crows for Comfort to our stage. Get these two on your calendar, both will be great!

What an amazing night under the stars and a near full moon. Kimmie and Gabe roads, along with 14 year old Jack Barksdale, put on an amazing show. Tales from the road and masterful songwriting and singing, doesn’t get any better in the Texas Hill Country. Thanks to all our friends who came out to support live music.

Great finale for a wonderful performance

Jack Barksdale being accompanied by Verlon Thompson on Dublin Blues. Verlon is one of the most humble and gracious men I know. For a Nashville icon who just put on an over the moon 2.5 hour show to spend time after the show to visit with and encourage a ten year old, that speaks volumes. What a night.
