Changing the event from an in person luncheon to a virtual event was very interesting and definitely had its challenges, but I am so grateful I had the opportunity to expand my event knowledge and roll with the punches. Very pleased with the way production ran and the overall outcome of the GEMS 2020 event. Although I will miss the chance to plan the GEMS Luncheon for the third time in a row, I am confident next years event will be an in person luncheon and have a successful planning process. Thank you CSI for the opportunity to plan yet another GEMS Volunteer Recognition.
Welcome to the first ever virtual GEMS Flagstaff Citywide Volunteer Recognition. Joyful Events and the team at the Civic Service Institute is so very thrilled for the quick turn around of our in person luncheon. Although we are very saddened we could not host a luncheon and see everyone together, we are thrilled for the virtual event we have put together for you all. Thank you to our sponsors Arizona Public Service, KAFF Radio, City of Flagstaff, Social and Behavioral Science, Northern Arizona University, and our title sponsor Findlay Auto Group. We could not have gotten this event together without all of you and your generosity. We also want to thank NAU TV Services for helping with the production of the event.
We take this time to recognize ALL volunteers within the community and say thank you for all your hard work, please join us in recognizing the “gems” in our community.
