September 14 th Sugar Creek Flea Market will be sponsoring a Hunting and Fishing Day! Jonathan Beachy of Best Recovery Effort and Blood Hounds will be on hand to talk about his journey that has taken him to this point in the recovery of wounded game and such . So I’m giving a shout out to all you outdoorsman bring your merchandise out and buy, sell and trade . Starts at 8am and goes until everyone leaves lol
Thoughts on having a Hunters Expo all day on September 14th flea market date. Emphasis on Displaying Products, buying selling and trading new and used hunting equipment. Maybe getting a special speaker or two to give talks. Give us your thoughts.

Just wanted to post some highlights of the Turtleman event. Rich Kerner was the winner of our 50/50 . This young man wanted to spend his birthday seeing Turtleman. The young man with the Turtle shell came from Highland, Illinois to get it autographed. Charlie Ash provided music in the afternoon and I want to thank him and his father for doing this, as always nothing short of excellent.
Grayhouse Crafty Couple will be on location. Cindy Seed with pampered chef will be here. There are more vendors I just haven’t had the proper pictures or information to list them. A lot of people will probably be here and it’ll be a good venue to sell your items. 50/50 drawing hopefully morning and afternoon. Come and enjoy the day!

Just got off the phone with Turtleman and he said to tell everyone if they have any arrowheads , other Indian artifacts, or interesting fossils to bring them out he would love to see them!

The Return of Turtleman is a week away, we have two food vendors that will be on grounds serving a variety of different menu items. On a roll says she will be serving biscuits and gravy for breakfast, I look forward to this, so come on out 8 am to 6 pm. We still have spots in the barn and pick your spot on Trader’s Alley bring your tent to provide your own shade.

July 13 th is quickly approaching, so I’ll be posting some of the folks who will be present..Jumbo Rolls, lunch items and drinks.
The Turtleman event is less than a month away so I wanted to make sure everyone was aware of the fees associated with it. Admission is $5.00 for anyone 10 years of age and older, 9 and under are free. Vendors inside the building where Turtleman will be are $35 . Please reserve your spot, I just booked another last night and they are limited. Outside and down Trader’s Alley will be $25 and the spaces are pretty much as big as you make them. Food vendors fee is $50 and we already have 2 booked and will only allow one more. We believe these prices are very reasonable and if you don’t please do the research to see what an event like this costs to put on. This is a family oriented event and no alcohol is allowed. Please come out and meet Turtleman plus enjoy the music which will be provided by Charlie Ash . For any further information or reserving a spot please call 618-843-0079.
