A little motion blur experimentation during a Swan Lake dress rehearsal performance. I didn’t have my tripod, so these were all captured hand held with my Nikon Z9 and 24-70 2.8. (Side note: This was a projected digital backdrop and LED lights, so there were obvious challenges.)

This technique doesn’t look as amazing with some ballets, but given the nature of SWANS🦢…I love the effect. What do you all think?

We help aspiring movement professionals of all types by building creative content designed for maximum, results driven impact. Our images are created to spotlight your technique, and clearly identify your artistic signature.

We're a mother and daughter team with over 40 collective years of training and work experience in classical, contemporary and commercial dance styles, as well as aerial circus arts, fire arts and musical theater. Our relationship is unique, our vibe is funky-cool, and we complete each others sentences. How lucky are we to merge our individual skills into one business and feel totally inspired and enriched everyday? We’re best friends who bring totally different aesthetics to the table, and we believe this is a bonus for our clients! Magically, our artistic visions align, resulting in double the awesome. Movement arts runs through our veins, and we’re proud creative nerds.

We’re ready to assist you with every possible detail, from sourcing your wardrobe looks to designing creative concepts, and lastly coaching you into shapes that will show off your best lines.
