I tell all my couples to expect things to go wrong, and things will happen unplanned but not to stress or worry because at the end of the day, the only thing that matters is that they get to say "I do". The day before their wedding, there was a fire right next door to the Lapeer Historical Courthouse where they were set to marry and their venue suffered smoke damage. They were given an hour to get their decorations out and figure out a new location. Without a drop of sweat, or ounce of stress they made it happen! Whitney and Blake have proven that they are stronger together and can face whatever life throws at them! Since then, I have enjoyed watching them welcome their beautiful baby, Clark and they're welcoming a second one soon! I met Seth during our final semester of nursing school, which is also when he proposed to this pretty little gal Hannah. So it was an absolute honor to officiate for the special couple last November. I ended the year 2022 with my 25th wedding, on NYE with Cherie and Shane in Port Huron. It was an intimate ceremony with only the photographer, the brides son, and myself in attendance in a gazebo in a park with the Blue Water Bridge in view, and their cute little pup Daisy! I was honored to unite them after over 2 years of them crossing the border back and forth to see one another. Congrats Cherie and Shane! Yesterdays wedding was a little more special for me than others. Seth and I met during our final semester of nursing school and became close during hospital clinicals . That semester is also when he proposed to his beautiful girl Hannah. I met Hannah at Seth and my graduation pinning ceremony and thought she was just the sweetest girl. So I was so very honored when they reached out to me to officiate their wedding. Seth is a great guy, great friend, has a great sense of humor and Hannah is such a sweetheart who has a contagious bright smile that lights up the room. Seth looked handsome as ever, Hannah was absolutely GORGEOUS and their day was absolutely perfect! Thank you for allowing me to play a part in your special day! Congrats Mr & Mrs Sundberg!! 🤎🤍🧡

She was amazing every step of the way and made sure everything went smoothly even when the DJ....just didn't. She stepped in and really took charge of the situation, going above and beyond for us. Making sure we didn't have any stress that day! We are so thankful and happy we hired her ❤️ She even remembered to take a step back so our photographer could capture the first kiss photo from her point of view!"

Part 2- Wedding number 2 this weekend took me to Owosso to Everlastings in the Wildwood. All I have to say about this wedding is WOW!! 😍 It reminded me of one of my childhood favorite movies, The Secret Garden. It was full of flowers, plants, waterfalls and fountains and just when I thought I had seen it all, I turned a corner and there was more!! I have to say it is one of my top favorite wedding venues Ive been to and what a beautiful wedding it was! Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Jon & Raechel Mitts!!!

What a busy weekend it was! It began Friday night at Caberfae Ski Resort in Cadillac. Charles and Shannon had a beautiful fall wedding decorated with mums, pumpkins, bubbles, and my favorite- sunflowers! What a beautiful day it was. Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Lupo!!!
