I’ve recently been thinking a lot about creativity and what that means to me. Over the past few years it’s been really hard for me to feel creative. Things have felt so busy and overwhelming at times. I’ve just been in motion, just get things done without regard for what that means for me. The idea of play has come up in multiple way over the past few months. Through informal lectures at a friend’s art studio to a random audio clip (a pretty powerful one at that) on instagram, and now an opportunity to win a seat at a floral workshop! What I’m learning is taking time to play and to be bad at something is ok. When you’re bad at something and you keep showing up to play and be curious you can only become better. I absolutely love workshops and alternative learning methods for this reason. You get to be surrounded by like minded curious people. Here’s to 2024 being a year of curiosity, learning, and play!

This wedding season has kicked in for sure! It’s very busy around here with no plans to stop any time soon! We recently traveled to Birmingham for a beautiful wedding day at Ashlee and Adam’s ceremony and reception set up were so unique with the runway aisle seating to the curved head table! I think we nailed the modern, urban, romance vibes!

(Abraham was with me so I basically forced him to take some pictures of the tables for me lol )
