🎵 Melanie Heard and Wendy Krause are sharing an evening of live music on Saturday, August 31st at The Playhouse! They are excited to be back on stage together, and excited to be performing in this intimate, small-venue theater in Old Town, Florence. They will be singing a variety of songs from different genres and different decades...something for everyone!

Both performers are no strangers to the stage. Both women have decades of performances under their belt- singing, dancing and acting, and are looking forward to collaborating in this night of music. They have performed together on stage in both “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown” as Lucy and Sally, and in the production, “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change” as well as “Mamma Mia” where Wendy played the role of Donna, and Melanie was the choreographer. This will be their first time performing together at The Playhouse. We are looking forward to it!

She grew up on country music with influences from rock, gospel, and blues which colored the sound that eventually was to become so uniquely hers. At 14, she had the privilege to record with Sawyer Brown at Studio 19 in Nashville and at 16, with the group Exile in Kentucky.

Her memorable career is highlighted by performances alongside legendary entertainers like David Frizzell, Martina McBride, Toby Keith, Restless Heart, Neal McCoy, Mel Tillis, Clint Black, Lee Ann Womack, plus many others.
