I will be CLOSED Saturday, October 26-November 1st. I will be traveling internationally and will not have access to cell service during this time. If you text or PM about flowers, I will not be able to respond until November 2nd. Please accept my apologies for this 💕. Feel free to drop off containers, etc during this period on my front porch and my family can bring them inside (just make sure to label them with you name so I can match them to your project). Weekly subscription deliveries will be on pause next week. I greatly appreciate your understanding and patience. Adventure awaits!

Word to the Wise 🦉 I LOVE working with flowers, teaching others about flowers, and seeing you post about your own DIY creations. However, there is something pressing on my mind that involves your flower education and safety. When you purchase flowers or cut them from the garden, they are COATED in two things: (1) bacteria (2) and pesticides. As florists, we “process” your flowers which includes proper sanitation, removal of leaves, dipping the flowers in products to prolong their life and storing the flowers in appropriate refrigeration and water with additives . It’s extremely important to use the small packets of “flower food” that you receive with your flowers in your water because it contains a chemical that cuts down on bacteria in the arrangement. Plain tap water is not adequate. ALWAYS use gloves and cover your workspace with plastic when working with flowers at home. Change the water in your arrangements at least every other day. Do NOT use the old water from your arrangement to water other plants or for any other purpose- its full of pesticides and bacteria. Enjoy experimenting with flowers but protect yourself and your family when you do. I will link my favorite disposable work gloves in the comments 💕 The Queen Bee

It’s WFHS HOCO 🎉. I couldn’t be more excited to add some Queen Bee Bling to your weekend. We do have nearly 100 pieces being made and picked up today and tomorrow.
