We’re doing a sound check for the last show of 2025! The Lonesome Brothers will be playing from 6:30 to 8:00pm on a beautiful evening! It’s also the last time you can buy a raffle ticket for our 50/50 raffle! Tickets are $10 each and we will draw one tonight with a minimum prize of $1,000!

Ozzie’s Basement and Crêpes Nanou sure know how to make a late summer evening memorable! We’re excited to do it again on September 4th, from 6:30 to 8:00pm, when the Lonesome Brothers take the Civic Center stage and close out our 2025 Florence Summer Concert Series! During the show, Caravan Kitchen will be on the side of the Civic Center and serving up some freshly made paninis! We hope that you'll join us for the last show of the season!

LIBRO AZUL and Cousins Maine Lobster - Hartford & Southern Connecticut sure know how to make a summer night fun! We’re excited to do it again on August 28 when Ozzie’s Basement takes the Civic Center stage to play fun covers from 6:30 to 8:00pm. Crêpes Nanou will be returning for their last time during our 2025 Summer Concert Series so don’t forget to grab a freshly made crêpe!

Last night was so fun thanks to the TOMMY FILIAULT BAND and Caravan Kitchen! We can't wait to do it again next Thursday (8/21), from 6:30 to 8:00pm, with LIBRO AZUL and the Cousins Maine Lobster - Hartford & Southern Connecticut food truck! We hope to see you there!

We had a blast last night thanks to The Ephemeral Stringband, Local Burgy, and the perfect summer evening weather! We can't wait to do it again next Thursday (8/14), from 6:30 to 8:00pm, with the bluesy rock of the TOMMY FILIAULT BAND and delicious and healthy paninis of Caravan Kitchen! We hope that you'll join us for another can't miss event!

It was raining cats and dogs yesterday so we made the difficult decision to postpone this week's show with LeFever. We are planning to reschedule with an alternative date sometime in September and will let everyone know when things have been finalized! In the meantime, we're already getting excited to see The Ephemeral Stringband take the stage on August 7th from 6:30 to 8:00pm at the Civic Center. We would also like to note that there has been a change in food trucks and it will be the Local Burgy food truck joining us during this time! We hope to see you there!

We are looking for an energetic volunteer who could rev up the parade’s entertainment and crowd turnout with assistance from the FCBA board members.

The Florence Business & Civic Association is looking for passionate volunteers to help make our community even stronger! Whether you have a few hours to spare or can commit to a longer-term role, we have opportunities to get involved and give back.

✨We are currently looking for:

Holiday Parade Leader/Chairperson - An energetic volunteer who could rev up the parade’s entertainment and crowd turnout.

Holiday Parade Committee Members - Passionate volunteers who could support the Leader/Chairperson.

The Florence Holiday Parade is held every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Beginning at Trinity Park at 10 AM, the parade ends at the Florence Civic Center with a very special visit from Santa.

No experience is required – just a willingness to help and a love for Florence! 🙌
