A kindhearted woman who dedicates her life to rescuing dogs and supporting the homeless and their pets has tragically lost everything in a devastating fire. All her belongings, including medicine and supplies for her rescues, have been reduced to ashes. She is left with only her dogs and a few very sick puppies in desperate need of care.

To make matters worse, after Saturday, she will have no place to go with her dogs, leaving her unhoused alongside her beloved animals.

Unlike large organizations, donating directly to her ensures your contribution goes straight to helping her rebuild and continue her selfless mission. Sheba was more than just a mascot at Farms—she was its heart. On Sundays during tour times, she would eagerly wait outside, her tail wagging with joy as brides, grooms, and their families arrived to tour the venue. It was as if she understood the beauty of love and the endless possibilities ahead for those couples, greeting them with her own happiness, as though she were part of their journey.

Sheba was a distemper survivor, a fighter who turned her own struggles into strength for others. She was always there for the distemper dogs rescued and treated at Danclay, their greatest cheerleader, friend, and sometimes even a mother figure. She wore so many hats for all of us—humans and animals alike. Sheba’s presence was constant, unwavering, and full of love.

We lost her last night. Her blood work showed liver failure, though the vet could not pinpoint the exact cause. The news is impossible to accept. Danclay Farms and Sheba were one and the same—her spirit was woven into every corner of this place. She knew when we were sad and always found a way to lift our hearts. She loved people deeply and gave her whole self to those around her.

She is gone now, no longer in her physical form, but her spirit will forever resonate throughout Danclay Farms. Every wag of her tail, every look of comfort, every moment of joy she gave us will remain etched in our memories. We will miss her so completely, so thoroughly, that words cannot capture the depth of this loss.

Sheba was always there, and in our hearts, she always will be.

Beautiful Danclay Farms was the setting for the wedding of Ty and Mallory Quick this past weekend. The rain made for uncertainty and the bride and groom found their way to Renaissance Antiques to do some last minute searching for items for the rehearsal dinner. Together we found exactly what she needed and a couple of our dealers let Mallory and Ty borrow 2 items much needed for the moving the wedding inside.
This morning Ty and Mallory stopped by to return the borrowed items as they were on their way out of town back to their hometown. We want to congratulate Ty and Mallory and wish them many years of happiness. We are so glad that Renaissance Antiques played a small part in their wedding..

( Both are graduates of Ole Miss where Ty played football.. )
