Christmas Eve 2023 at Carr’s Chapel was a big success and a wonderful celebration of the birthday of Jesus! Thank you to all of those who attended which was around 50 people! Thank you to David and Kim Vaughn for leading everything and singing! Also a big thank you to Darlenea Robertson for singing, Caylee Katner who sang special, Courtney Katner for playing the piano, and Brady Rasco who played the guitar! And a thank you to Jamie Williams for recording and taking pictures, and a thanks to Santa for taking the time to make an appearance!

Merry Christmas Eve to everyone and to those who couldn’t make the Christmas Eve service at Carr’s Chapel! Due to technical difficulties, mainly because of lack of cell service inside the church, we were unable to show the service live. We did record the service and will be posting pictures and the video soon.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Carr’s Chapel! The Christmas Eve service was a big success and those in attendance were in awe of how the little old church had been reborn with some hard work and new decorations. Carr’s Chapel was adorned with a new look this Christmas to show guests how the church can transform into something magical. There were many guests in attendance who knew what the old church usually looks like, and there were many new guests that were there for the first time to take in the new sights. Everyone was very complimentary and wants to help us spread the word that Carr’s Chapel can be the best little church around for a wedding. We’re posting some photos of the Christmas Eve at Carr’s Chapel and hope you enjoy looking at them as much as we enjoyed decorating. We would like to say a BIG thank you to the congregation that was there on Christmas Eve as we collected $930 to put towards our cemetery. Hopefully we can begin beautifying the grounds. In March of this year, we hosted a wedding at Carr’s Chapel. It’s the first wedding we’ve had there in a while. The happily married couple is Hunter and Cari Fortenberry. We have posted several pictures from their wedding. It was a beautiful wedding for a perfect couple! Chapel Charm provided the services for their wedding and provided and setup all of the decorations for their wedding. Chapel Charm is a wedding service that we have created that will promote Carr’s Chapel as a wedding venue. We will offer a variety of services from full service, that will include complete decorating and pretty much anything the wedding couple needs done, to a do it yourself wedding. We really want to see the 100 plus year old church be used more often than just for Christmas Eve services. Chapel Charm is operated by Daralyn Jiron and her daughters, with even her husband, son, and son-in-law putting in a helping hand. The Jiron family has been making some updates to the church such as stripping the church pews and staining them, and more updates are to come in the future. We just wanted to let the public know the transformation the church is going through, yet it’s still keeping its country charm. Carr’s Chapel can be the perfect wedding venue for many couples. Please view the wedding pictures to see how the church can be transformed.

On the note of making the transformation of the church, we would like to invite anyone wanting to join us for our Christmas Eve service. Santa will even be making an appearance. The church will be decorated with a new Christmas theme to show guests its Chapel Charm. The service will start at 6 pm and there will be refreshments to be enjoyed and goodie bags from Santa. We hope to have a full chapel! We wish everyone a very blessed and Merry Christmas! 🎄🎁

We are excited to announce that the couple marrying at Carr's Chapel in March is Cari Hall and Hunter Fortenberry! We're so flattered they chose Carr's Chapel as their place of union. We know it will be a beautiful occasion! Love is in the air! 💘

We are pleased to announce some exciting news! Carr's Chapel will be hosting a wedding in March for a loving couple! This is the first wedding for Carr's Chapel in quite a while, and we look forward to this next chapter for the church and for the happy couple! Love wins! ❤️
