Our Story

Whippoorwill Wedding Venue and Lodge hosted their first wedding this May, 2019. We book weddings through the last week of May through first weekend in November. The 110 acre private and secluded farm is located in Foley, MO about 10 minutes from Hwy 79. Offering a Colorado-style lodge for out-of-town guests, the wedding party, or simply the newlywed couple, we can accommodate a party of 15. The lodge features a large honeymoon suite designed exclusively for the bride in preparation for her special day. The suite hosts a king size bed, walk-in shower, and rustic wood burning stove. Separate from the honeymoon suite is a bridal suite where the bridesmaids can sit in salon style chairs to prep before the wedding hour. This suite will also sleep 2 if needed. In addition to these preparation rooms, there are 3 other bedrooms with queen and king beds, as well as, 3 full baths and 1 half bath. Amenities include a large bar area within the kitchen for meal gatherings, a large stone fireplace, walk-in shower, and a 6 person hot tub. An ideal setup for the bride and bridesmaids to prepare for a memorable, special day. We are currently putting finishing touches on the large, lodge-styled barn which will hold approximately 300 people. The covered wrap around porch offers additional seating for indoor overflow. Several sliding barn doors along each side, coupled with large ceiling fans in the main corridor, and air conditioning in the bathrooms and kitchen keep the barn cool and breezy on warmer summer days. The barn also features an inverted fault entrance with 2 extra large rustic chandeliers that invite guests in with an awestruck view. In addition, the barn features two uniquely designed bar areas...one for beverages, and one for desserts or hors d’oeuvres. There are other features to this secluded venue that make it a spectacular place for a wedding ceremony. An expansive hillside waterfall serves as a gorgeous location for an outdoor wedding. This setting also features a cedar walk-bridge, rustic arbor, and small pavilion needed for DJ setup and beverage service. We are already envisioning some beautiful photographs taken from these spectacular sights! We also offer a wide variety of services. Our rental decor, decorating and floral services, photography, DJ entertainment, hair stylist, and videography make it possible to plan your wedding in a very short time! Our decor rental collections are continually growing. So, whether your style is classic, rustic, shabby chic, or vintage...we have items to make your decor as unique as you are.
