I get alot of questions from folks asking why I don't do certain things. There's a three sided coin answer to that: time, cost, and niche. I'm called to a few things. Supporting other local businesses is one of them. I have a niche, a special way of care and display. Grazing tables are my passion and Southern cuisine is my comfort. I stick to that. I am constantly stretching and growing myself to expand my abilities within that. It's what I love. Can I bake? Yep. Am I a baker? Nope. Uh-Uh. I have no qualms suggesting and often utilize other local small businesses for offerings such as cookies, cakes, pies, pastries. I also hate grease. 😂 I ain't deep frying nothing! It's unhealthy and messy. I gladly support those skilled and qualified and equipped to deep fry your wings and tenders. Marvelous ain't gone do it, Chile. 🧑🏿‍🍳

We offer holiday event catering, but don't offer to go or individual pan meals for the holidays. I can suggest some great locals who do. Food costs are up, up, up, and we reserve those dollars for specialized services. BTW, the Mom and Pop shop selling you meals for the holidays deserve a tip. They aren't making much money selling you a pan of green beans. Whether you purchase 1 pan or 4, the time in the kitchen is the same. And honey! I cannot fathom my cornbread dressing selling for less than it's worth. Whew Chile! Nope.🧑🏿‍🍳 We do offer meal prep and through our charitable side, James 1:37 Meals, we often provide meals for families in need or experiencing loss. Otherwise, you will see us at your favorite events, your niece's wedding, your bosses retirement, or your home for Date Night with Bae. 💞🎉

We appreciate every ask, every request, every testimony and referral. You all are the heartbeat of what we do. I hope this helps.

It may be a small thing because it's still just "me" but I've decided to give the philanthropic side of my catering its own designation. Sequins & Seasonings: Meals Made Marvelous does a great deal within the community. Generally even though it's food related, it falls under The Village Cooperative/ The Village. As of today, you will see that intertwined or exchanged. Sequins & Seasonings, in partnership with The Village Cooperative, provides charitable meal services via James 1:27 Meals. Meals can be purchased and delivered on behalf of loved ones and whenever there are corporate or Non-profit endeavors where sponsorship is offered, it will be by way of James 1:27 Meals. Why? Because ultimately everything I do operates from this passion and in serving this purpose.
