In response to the 2024 Community Health Assessment, three health priorities have been identified: Mental Health, Substance Use and Healthcare Access. To move forward in developing a plan to address the priority areas, Fond du Lac County Health Department and SSM Health Greater Fond du Lac, in collaboration with Healthy Fond du Lac County partners, is hosting 3 community strategizing discussions for the 2025-2027 Community Health Improvement Plan. These sessions are free to attend and open to the public.

Celebrating Fond du Lac's 2024 People of the Year! 🌟

🇺🇸 Sons of the American Legion Squadron 75can

The Sons of the American Legion Squadron 75, a nonprofit organization of male descendants of veterans at the Trier-Puddy Post No. 75, have spent 2024 tirelessly supporting veterans in need.

This year, they organized impactful events to address critical issues like veteran homelessness. In February, they launched Freezing for a Reason, an overnight outdoor event held in cardboard boxes and tents to raise awareness and funds for homeless veterans. The event, combined with a spaghetti dinner and pancake breakfast, raised nearly $11,000 for veterans in defense.

In August, they hosted the inaugural Corn Roast, a family-friendly event featuring live music, carnival games, hayrides, and more—all to benefit local veterans.

Through their selfless dedication, the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 75 continue to honor and uplift those who served our country. Your commitment ensures that no veteran is left behind.
