The farm during my favorite time of day. 🌅

Jed is out there hooking up the rototiller and tilling the new ground for our annual planting. The annual flower bed is about 1 acre. We are trying to get as much done as we can before dark. There's never enough time in the day for a farmer.

We are prepping for planting and we are also busting butt to get as many bouquets and arrangements made up for you this week for our Mother's Day Open House.

It's soooo upsetting when we have theft at our roadside stand.
I work REALLY HARD to keep the freshest blooms on the flower cart so that you can enjoy them and grab them at your convenience.

Yes, the cameras are real. Yes I do watch and while I rarely say anything when I see it and try to shrug it off and not let it bother me. IT BOTHERS ME!
It's stealing! And flowers no less!!
To the lady in the silver car, we have your license plate and will report the authorities the next time happens.

NOTE: There's also been some people not paying the extra service fees for Venmo and PayPal transactions. These companies charge us to use these platforms and therefore we need to charge accordingly. If you do not pay the correct account , this is also considered stealing.

THANK YOU to all of my honest customers. We truly appreciate your business and support. You are what keeps this farm running and for that I can't thank you enough!!
I want to be able to provide services for years to come and with your honestly and support we can continue to bring you quality flowers!

Let me tell you about our Holiday Bulb Gardens
They are a beautiful evergreen centerpiece that can be enjoyed now through the holidays.
Planted inside are paperwhite bulbs and a big jumbo amaryllis.
The paperwhites are the first to show face and will bloom soon after Christmas
The amaryllis will start to bloom late January/February
Since they are premium bulbs, you can expect two or more shoots to bloom and each shoot has 4 big flower blossoms. They really put on quite a show and best part is, it's during the dreariest months of the year right when you need a little pick me up. 🌸

We have these available tomorrow during our Open House hours 9am-3pm.
Be sure to stop in to scoop one up for your hostess or yourself 😉

A look into today's harvest. This tiny space can grow just about 3,000 tulip bulbs at a time. We harvest every single day as bulbs come into bloom and we keep adding crates to continue their succession. Having color in the winter is no small task, but I think it's worth it. 😍 You can find our winter blooms at our self serve Flower Shack located at 155 getman rd, Fonda Or we offer Friday pick-ups in Amsterdam and Johnstown. These can be reserved on our website.

How do we have blooms in the middle of winter, you ask??? Here's a look into our Tulip Trailer where we force winter blooms in this heated trailer. This tiny space can grow 2,800 bulbs at a time. Flowers just started blooming for us this week and they are available at our roadside flower shack daily throughout the winter months. We love having color this time of year 🌷😊🌷
