Ballad Town USA is home to the All Northwest Barbershop Quartet Contest.

Originall called the Forest Grove Ballad Contest the All Northwest Barbershop Quartet Contest is open to quartets of all types including Mens, Womens, and Mixed quartets! We are proud to continue the traditions of the best quartets in the Northwest performing a cappella music in the Barbershop Harmony style for over 70 years.

An amazing mini-retreat today as my Westside Christian High School Concert Choir prepares to perform at the NW American Choral Directors Association’s regional conference in Spokane on January 25th. Such an honor! So proud of my students!

Thanks to my accompanist and friend, Ryan DeHaven, and to my friend, Chris Maunu, for offering guidance and encouragement.

The choir will perform two short preview concerts. The first is this Tuesday, January 9, 7 PM, at Southwest Church of Christ in Tigard. The second will be on Friday, January 19, in the Westside Christian High School auditorium. We invite you to join us for one or both of these preview concerts.
