It’s sad that we even have post this but, just a heads up to everyone that decides to drive up our driveway to the venue build (completely disregarding the multiple private property posters) we have security cameras at multiple locations and have videos of you and your vehicles… we are very excited about our progress and looking forward to sharing this with everyone but it’s also upsetting to deal with this daily to the point we have to share a post and save videos of vehicles trespassing.

After what feels like an eternity of set backs due to covid, it’s finally that time 😭🙏🏼! Machines are moving there way on to the property and everything is staked out!!

We could not be more excited for y’all to see our dreams become a reality and to bring something so unique and special right to our home town ♥️

With things quickly approaching and plans in hand, we’ve had a lot of you reaching out to ask about what our venue will look like. Without giving away too many surprises we wanted to share a few pictures that describe our “vibe” the entire venue is custom designed top to bottom by me 🤗 if I had to put a name on the style is would be Very modern, rustic Mediterranean. When we started this all...our one goal was to build something here that would blow people away. A wedding venue so special and so beautiful that realistically you figured could never happen here in forest. ♥️ we cannot wait to start making all your weddings dreams come true. Yesterday was so special to my heart. It was our first time planning a photo shoot at our estate. It was also my first time finally taking the leap and being the photographer myself. I’m so thankful to and Kristen McCray for letting me borrow their beautiful girls to be my models for the day. Also huge Thankyou to Morgan Musgrove for the hours of help tearing down fencing with me, hand crafting rustic boho swings, lanterns, hanging fishing line through out the woods and filling dozens of hanging lanterns with tea lights...and Caitlin Unterman for bringing kharma (the horse) out to our estate. She was an absolute angel. I couldn’t have pulled off yesterday without yall♥️ everything turned out more dreamy than I could have ever imagined. I will soon open up to booking sessions! Let me know if you would like to schedule anything for yourself or your little ones. Outfit changes (like the dresses pictured)and props will all be included by me as well for photoshoots ♥️ backdrop is credit to our amazing property I will be opening bookings for clients soon, so please dm me if interested. We felt like Easter Sunday was a special day to go out to our estate and thank Jesus for all he has done for us. We could not be more grateful that he led us to this property and planted a seed in our hearts to open a wedding venue so we could be a part of so many couples marriages for years to come ♥️ -Happy Easter from the Thomas Family-

The dogs have loved being out at the Estate with us during all this preparation time. Their favorite place is down at the pond with our boys fishing. Our frenchy decided she loves the water so much and kept trying to jump in, especially when our boys were in the boat (they are known to have trouble swimming ) so we quickly ordered a life jacket so our hearts could be more at ease with her near the water. Beau (our mastiff puppy) also loves the water but should be a great swimmer, we just couldn’t help ourselves and thought it would be a good laugh to see him in a life vest too. It did not disappoint 😂😂😂😍♥️

The first couple we opened up our property to for pictures was very special to us. Logan has been best friends with Corby since kindergarten and Corby stood by Logan’s side as his best man the day of our marriage♥️ Nothing could have been more special to us than to have Emily and Corby take their maternity pictures at The Thomas Estate. Now that Cayden is here, we cannot wait to look back with him someday and show him all the pictures of him out here with our family as he grows up ♥️

Recently we had the pleasure of having Jessica Woody Williams Aaron Williams and their beautiful daughter Kara at our property to take pictures. Unfortunately her senior prom was cancelled this year due to the current crisis across the world, but knowing we were able to provide a special place for her to still dress up and take photos to remember forever is something we will never forget. She absolutely stunning 😭😍❤️

Hello from the Thomas Family! For years my husband and I have sat together and talked about our family dream. It has definitely been a wild ride. Our life has been far from the usual. Over the Past 5 years we have lived in Ohio, Arizona, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Michigan, and now DC! (oh yeah..I should mention this is only half of the year! The other half we live in our favorite place of all, forest Virginia!) We have 5 beautiful Boys from the age of 12years old down to 1 years old. 2 dogs, 2 cats and one frigget (what our 4 year old calls his frog 😂) My husband plays football in the NFL and we are constantly on the move, we joke that we basically live out of luggage and we are now professional movers.

For years we had planned to buy land in Virginia to build a wedding venue. We had a certain vision in mind, the most important part being the view. We sat online everyday whether away during season or back home trying to find the land of our dreams. For years, we struck out. Sometimes finding a decent view but the location was just too far away. Other times finding land close, but just not the view we knew we had to find. We prayed everyday to be led to find this place we knew was meant for our family.

We had a friend tell us about a property with a decent view but it was only 15acres. We knew we wanted much more land but decided to drive out and look at the area. We didn't even leave the car because we knew this wasn't the place for us. Instead we decided to just drive. Without knowing which direction, or what we were looking for, we just pointed and said "lets try this way." We hit another fork in the road and chose to turn right. We got around the bend, I looked over and said..."ugh, that's our DREAM property" it was the most beautiful, lush, secluded land ever. With a view that was outa this world (and little did we know that wasn't even close to the best view on that property) we continued to drive and went around another bend only to see a cute little white farm house and a sign saying "110 acre farm for sale" both of our jaws dropped! We pulled over immediately. We knew 110 acres was more than we wanted to buy but said "lets call right now and see if there was any way to get half of the land without the house on it!!" The phone rang and someone answered! They asked how we had heard about this property and we told them we were sitting in front of the sign. They told us the land literally just went for sale and hadn't even been listed online yet. infact they had just put that sign up that day. He than went on to say unfortunately, someone has already purchased half of this land with the house, so there is only 50 acres available now. We both just sat there in shock. It was almost like we were dreaming.

Fast forward to now and through all the months of approval for a venue.

We could not be more excited to announce the beginning of our family dream. The Thomas Estate is going to make dreams become a reality. Our property has the most breathtaking view of the entire mountain range, from end to end. We are about to begin construction on a modern custom barn that will be like nothing people have ever seen around here. With multiple locations to offer for that special day. From our beautiful wooded area, our hilltop area with the Mountain View or our natural rock drop-off area with a view overlooking our very large pond that we are about to build a dock on! We cannot wait to include you in on this process and post pictures of all the amenities that we will be offering to make your special day exceed even your wildest dreams!!
