It was a remarkable night, a night that signifies a beautiful journey coming full circle. It gives me an overwhelming sense of both gratitude and responsibility as we announce the donation of over $8k in professional premier stage lighting and special effects equipment to this very department that has fostered countless talents, including our beloved company founder. “Ron” ….For him, the theater department was more than a space of learning; it was a haven of inspiration—a place where his first vision of lights dancing on stage was born. It’s in these corridors that his dreams were nurtured, setting him on the path to build what Xscape Lighting and Special Effects has become today. This donation is our way of saying ‘thank you.’ It’s an ode to never forget where we come from, to always give back to our roots, and to support the new generation in painting their vibrant dreams onto the vast canvas of life. We believe that with these lights and effects, we are handing over more than just equipment—we are passing on a beacon of possibility, a chance for the students here to illuminate their talents and create magic for their audiences. It is our hope that this contribution will light up young imaginations and encourage the same passion and drive that our founder discovered in the walls of this great institution.
