2025 brides, want a piece of golden advice from a wedding florist? Choose the ceremony florals you can flip and reuse for the reception. My go-to for this option are AISLE CLOUDS! Think of all those spots in your reception where you want flowers besides your centerpieces. Maybe it’s by the bar, lining the stage, by the cake, in front of your sweetheart table or like this- a statement display that’s perfect for a photo op!

About yesterday… 🥰🥰🥰

Despite the sudden thunderstorm, humidity, and heat- it was a stunning day!
These blue and white florals for the Proctor wedding made me so happy to create! Can’t wait to share more!

Also- super grateful for my team on wedding days like this one! Being 3 months postpartum and flower slinging was whew! But I have such great people to help when I need it. came out and flowered with me 💕 and my ride or dies Liz & Katie helped too! I feel so honored to have people in my corner helping me achieve this flower dream of mine!

While I love getting to create with beautiful flowers, my highest calling of being a mama will always come first. Penny & Blu will be back with weddings for the spring of 2024, and I’m still taking select May and June dates! This next sweet baby is due after the holidays, & this mama purposefully didn’t book weddings this December or January to enjoy this time with my two kiddos.

While you won’t see anything new from me in the next couple of months, I am truly excited about my spring 2024 brides and what I get to create for them! To all my clients of 2023, thank you for trusting me with some of the most special days of your lives! I have truly enjoyed slinging flowers this year, even while wearing a baby and having another in my belly. This year has shown me that my dream for Penny & Blu feels so right. I can’t wait to be back slinging flowers soon!

Make an arrangement with me! Here are some tips: 1- Think about placement. I knew this would go on a table & I didn’t want it blocking people’s view. So I kept the height of it low. 2- Start building your shape with some type of greenery or base. 3- Test out the height of stems. It’s way better than cutting something too short right off the bat! Follow me for more tips and pretty blooms! 🌸 I’m gearing up to sell arrangements @oldmillmarketco this Saturday and I’m so excited about it. Hope to see y’all there!

Pretty spring blooms for a birthday girl! 🌼

GREENERY HOOPS: I loved making these greenery hoops for an event last September. If you can’t tell, I love using tons of greenery. These hoops had true blue eucalyptus, silver dollar eucalyptus, olive leaf, chamomile, and ruscus.

HOW TO: make a flower arrangement Start with greenery, add your bigger blooms (base flowers), and fill in with your filler flowers. For me, this is an easy way to make a pretty centerpiece.
