Join us for an incredible panel tomorrow at 1:30 PM during the 2024 Big Sky Indigifest featuring powerhouse Indigenous women who are making waves in media, fashion, art, and entrepreneurship:

Kelly Holmes (Mnicoujou Lakota) - Founder of Native Max New Media & Native Max Magazine. Kelly is a trailblazer in Indigenous media, fashion, and entrepreneurship. She’s empowering Native voices and fostering cultural pride through her work.

Yolanda OldDwarf (Apsaalooké Nation) - Founder of Sweet Sage Woman. Yolanda’s clothing brand is a beautiful fusion of traditional Apsaalooké designs and contemporary fashion. She’s a beacon of empowerment, using her brand to uplift others and inspire courage.

Angela Howe-Parrish (Apsáalooke Nation & descendant of Pikuni Nation) - The visionary behind Choke Cherry Creek. Angela is known for her stunning beadwork and contemporary Indigenous fashion. Her designs, showcased at New York and Paris Indigenous Fashion Weeks, celebrate the beauty and resilience of Indigenous culture.

Erin LaMere (Nakoda Tribe) - Owner of Rezolution / Erin LaMere. Erin is a master behind the lens, capturing the essence of Indigenous life and culture. Her work has been featured in numerous publications, and she’s become a sought-after photographer for weddings, graduations, and more.

The panel will be moderated NWL Program Director, Latisha Buck Elk Thunder, and Accelerate Montana's Workforce Development Program Specialist, Ticia Cliff.

The 2024 Big Sky Indigifest will take place at the Double Tree Hotel in downtown Billings, MT September 5th and 6th.

Micha is a beauty & a badass. It is sooo incredible that she and her little sister Marayla are in Abu Dhabi for 2024 Youth Worlds MMA Championship (RIGHT NOW) fighting for team USA. To have that opportunity, you ladies deserve to be proud. I’m sure it wasn’t easy getting there. Keep crushing, can’t wait to see what is next!! 💗

Erin specializes in graduates, weddings, families, and community events. Her work can also be found in Native Max Magazine, the world’s first indigenous fashion magazine. She has recently been recognized by Accelerate Montana through their Native Women Launch Program.

For those of you that don’t know me, since I don’t think I’ve ever shown my face on this profile before. lol

My name is Erin LaMere. I am an enrolled member in the Assiniboine (Nakoda) tribe located on Fort Belknap Indian Reservation, MT. This is where I currently reside. I do travel between Billings, MT and Fort Belknap frequently. In Billings I spend all the free time I have with my grandmother. I catch random and fun jobs in between, which puts me on the road a lot. Im so grateful for all of those that support my career and the lifestyle that I live with my nomadic tendencies. 🤎

With that being said. See y’all at RES 2024 in Las Vegas (March 11-14th) & then in Denver for Native Fashion in the City (March 14-17). ✨

I can’t even explain the emotions I feel seeing this photo and watching the interviews (captured Sept 2022), the things I’ve overcome between then and now (personal and business) is crazzzzy. I can’t express how grateful I am for anyone and everyone that supports me in this journey. It’s been a doozy buuuuut I wouldn’t trade it for anything. 💗

I’m proud of me. Just chasin my dream life. ✨
