i know this might sound a little crazy, but sometimes i experience this phenomenon where i'm most productive when i've got a million things to do.
this obviosly isn't true 100% of the time. it usually starts with a feeling of overwhelm and not knowing where to start. but once i start, it's game on. maybe it's that satisfaction i get from checking things off the to-do list that energizes and motivates me, or maybe it's the feeling of empowerment from being able to be my own boss and manage my own time-if i feel creative, then i focus on creating. if i'm not feeling creative, then i get to the more task-oriented or operational things.
shifting into focusing most of my time and energy on feral flora, and not on a main day job, has been a challenging and huge transition that i am still sorting out, but i feel like i am falling into a routine that feels good and i think i could really get used to it.

happy march everyone! is anyone else feeling like we are finally on our way to spring?
it's going to be a busy year and with spring right around the corner i have been trying to stay on track with my tasks as well as my overall goals. when i did my feral flora rebrand i decided to write out the things that are at the core of my brand so i could get very clear with myself. i also wanted to be able to share them with all of you so you could get to know me and my brand a little better.
over this last year+ feral flora has grown to become more than a creative brand for me, which has always been my long term vision and goal, i just had no idea what that timeline would look like. but it now includes my farmstead where i raise chickens with my incredible and supportive partner , and this coming year, grow cut-flowers! with this change and growth, it will be a perfect time to expand upon my mission, purpose and goals, but for now, these I posted are still, and will remain, at the center of my brand/business.
it feels really good to be continuting down a path i've been dreaming about and working so hard at for some time. it has been, and will surely continue to be, filled with challenge, hardship, beauty, and awe. thanks for coming along on this journey. ♡ sharing this life is so much better than doing it alone.
