They say when it rains on your wedding it’s a sign of good luck and prosperity in your marriage. Here are some fun superstitions that we found behind this saying. One story goes, since rain brings forth crops from the ground the couple will be blessed with abundance. Other traditions believe that a wet knot is difficult to untie so when “tying the knot” on a rainy day the couple will be blessed with a strong unity. An Irish superstition is that, soft raindrops on your wedding day is a sign from above that will forever seal your love.
