10/10 recommend bringing your dogs and your truck to your senior pictures.

I can't believe I remember when Tristan was born. His mom Tiffnee and I played setter/right side hitter together back in highschool. Tristin was in her senior pictures, and now I get to be a part of taking his! It's crazy how wild time can be.

The Morrow Family!

I loved that Jared decided to get his wife Rachel a family photo session for mother's day/her birthday. Like so many families, Jared said they hadn't had formal family photos taken together since the kids were little and they were taken in a studio at JC Penny.

I think these photos serve as an excellent reminder to document your family in all of the stages. I would have loved to have more pictures of my own family at this time in our lives!

Thanks for making my first Horsetooth session of the summer a great one!

Welcome to the world, Baby Carter!
I loooove when we get to do in-home newborn sessions and all of the fur members of the family get to be included, too. As you can imagine, I was absolutely tickled that Pepper the cat was such a big fan of Baby Carter. Maverick and Goose were also always close by to stand guard over the newest member of the household.

Throwback to one of the most uniquely wonderful wedding days of the year. Morgan and Ben got married on Ben’s family farm outside Scottsbluff, Nebraska in October. Morgan wore her grandmothers wedding dress and walked down the aisle in a brooch bouquet comprised of broches given to her by her friends and family. She arrived to the ceremony in a vintage model T driven by her father. The wind was nowhere to be found and the golden hour sunset ceremony is everything a photographer could hope for. Guests eagerly a sited to find out if Morgan would take on the name “Morgan Morgan.” Congratulations to these 2 kinds souls 🧡

Mailys + Michael. Where do I begin with these two?! I think I might have laughed harder during their engagement session than I had any other session before. These two somehow are simultaneously beautifully connected and wonderfully unserious at the same time. Their joy is contagious.

I remember being so nervous about this session because Mailys said their main request was fall colors for their photos, but even by October 11 in Fort Collins, the colors had hardly begun to change. I feel like we were still able to capture that autumn energy with the right landscape and lighting.

Thanks for trusting me to capture this part of your journey. I'm so excited to capture another wedding with the Steiblen family in November!

Hi friends! As many of you noticed, my account got hacked last nignt and the user sent a lot of bizarre and aggressive messages to those who follow me. I wanted to say a huge thank you to every single person who reached out to me or attempted to report the account/communicate with the hacker in some way. After talking to several people I also found out that many others have fallen victim to this same type of hacking and were never able to recover their personal account, which not only feels violating having somebody talk to your friends while pretending to be you, but can also be devastating to those of us who rely on social platforms to keep our small businesses afloat. I really lucked out that I had a friend who works at Facebook who was able to help with the account recovery, as Instagram doesn’t really offer any sort of live or personal support when it comes to resolving these issues. So I wanted to spread awareness to make sure this doesn’t happen to anyone else I know. 1.) If you haven’t already, set up two-factor identification on all of your social accounts so a discovered password isn’t enough for a hacker to gain access to your account 2.) If a friend sends you a link asking to verify their profile so they can log in to their account on a new phone, text that friend outside of any social apps to be sure it’s them and that their account hasn’t also been hacked. (Friend verification is a common practice that I have encountered with Facebook/Instagram before, which is why I didn’t immediately assume it was suspicious.) 3.) change your passwords regularly and try not to use the same password for every application in your life (easier said than done ,I know.) I know I haven’t had time to reach out to every single person who contacted me in the past 24 hours, but I wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart, and thank you for reminding me that for as many cruel people as there are in the world, there are even more good ones who ar
