Batesville, Texas is the Spinach capital of the USA. Zavala County has Popeye as their mascot. As a young girl in high school we ate lots of spinach and eggs with cheese when we had lunch during detasseling season. It is still one of my favorites in a tortilla. Special morning, remembering my roots. Oh, and I grew my own chile pequin or chile del Monte. Called this because it grows wild in Texas.

I will have 10 trays available of 1 dozen jalapeño stuffed with cream cheese, sharp cheddar, wrapped in apple wood smoked bacon for football Sunday! Mild or wild you pick. 10.00 a tray. Message me on here. Thank you . Latest pick up is 7 pm Sunday. They come with Cholo sauce. Chipotle, lemon in sour cream, herbs for the magic!
