When creating the design for this “out of this world” event, we knew we wanted to bring this vision to collaborate with one of our favorite fabricators and floral designers raquel1 had a vision to create unique over the top futuristic centerpieces using wires, tubing, a raw metal look and alien looking florals that would bring a post-apocalyptic outer space feel to life. Luis and Marissa went back and forth brainstorming and designing all of the details of this look and did it pay off! These were custom made pieces and this look was definitely one of a kind.

A few of the magical details of the Moroccan Bat Mitzvah we designed for a client in Golden Beach. We were brought onto this project by who we love to collaborate on events with.

We wanted to keep this look young and fun but still embody the traditional Moroccan aspects of a Henna of which was important to the client. The colors were so lavish and rich and the accents of gold and brass brought so much warmth to the space. Beautiful lanterns and candles gave off such a glow and ambiance once day turned to night.

Bright and early in the morning beginning set up for an OUT OF THIS WORLD event. All my events and clients are so important to me but this one was extra special because it was for my own son’s sixteenth birthday. He missed out on a real Bar Mitzvah party due to Covid so we went all out for his sixteenth. Our venue was Hangar 9 at the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport. This 10,000 square foot space is directly on the tarmac. It is such a cool experience to have your event and watch the planes take off in the background. As you can tell my the video, they were getting a plane ready to be moved and it was LOUD (don’t worry, by the time guests arrived everything had settled down). Sneak peek of the incredible Sixteenth birthday event from this past weekend. All of the events I design and all of my clients are incredibly special to me but this one was a extra special because it was for my own son, Shane. This patient young man waited 3.5 years for a party when Covid forced us to cancel his Bar Mitzvah party and turn it into an out of this world drive through. The drive through was amazing but nothing replaces a party with all of your family and friends together in the same place celebrating you. After all these years and the party having to be pushed back multiple times due to logistics and family emergencies, we finally landed on “Planet 16”.
