"I write stories for and about awkward women of all ages.

I look to tell the stories that I hardly see on stage.
Stories where q***r women fall in love and get a happily ever after.
Stories about teen girls coming into their own.
Stories about women ignored by history.
Stories about women ambivalent about motherhood.
Stories about awkward tension between women of color and white women who aren’t quite liberal as they think they are.
Stories that require transcendent theatricality – including magic, puppetry, and dance.
Stories about misfits finally find their place.
Stories about older women finally coming into their own.
Stories that invoke lesser known pieces of folklore.
Stories that examine lesser known pieces of history.

But most of all I want to tell stories that would make the 16 year version of myself – the girl who wondered if she’d ever able be able to see herself as a lead – hope for the future."

We appreciate all the performers who contributed to our programs this year. Also shoutouts to Aston Gardens Senior Living in Parkland as well as Actors Community Theater of Davie for giving us an opportunity to showcase local talent.

Gratitude for 2023.

This year marked our 15th year of presenting South Florida talent in various forums for Live performance.

We want to show much appreciation to the following:

Actors Community Theatre of Davie for co-hosting our SINGULAR SENSATIONS Cabaret program. As well as Meri Ziev - she/her, Vocalist for being our inaugural contributing act.

Aston Gardens At Parkland Commons for giving us an opportunity to present our VARIETY HOUR program in April and July. To the following contributing talents: Steve Minotti, Zay Alcantara, This Is Improv, Brian Kirk, Renee Elizabeth Turner, Mori Taiye, Seetharaman Radhakrishnan and Elviza, we are beyond appreciative of you gracing us with your performances.
