Let me tell you a lil story of a badass food trailer in the mountains. opened up her food trailer in the High Country three months ago. Last Friday devastation came to her family town of Newland, Nc. Her sister Ciara, lost everything in her home. Instead of sitting idle, Carrie scraped together funds and started feeding the community. Her and her sister have been putting food in the hands of the displaced and without. To see the excitement this morning of pride that yesterday she put out 150 meals but the desperation that she turned away still hungry families. THIS IS COMMUNITY PRIDE!!
We received a message that in a short two hours, she went through all the food she had and fed 300 people. This is currently without any corporate or outside support. helped with donations.
has a long road to keep helping those in need since the devastation will be several months. Consider donating to her Venmo, Ciara’s gofundme, or drop off any items in Fort Mill or Blowing Rock.

As you enjoy this beautiful Two Dollar Tuesday in the Carolinas, please help us to assist those devastated by Hurricane Helene. There are communities in the surrounding areas that are cut off from receiving the assistance that they desperately need like Newland, Elk Park, Spruce Pine and Roan Mountain.

We are working with our friends at the Tasty Traveler to secure essential items which we have listed below. They will be set up at 310 Panola St. across from CVS in Newland everyday serving meals from 10am-until they run out for anyone in need. They will also be accepting donations to distribute to the community.

You may also drop off donations at Cupcrazed starting Friday in Blowing Rock from 8-3 and at our Fort Mill location daily from 9am-7pm
