Today I personally had the opportunity to paint at two separate mother/son events in both Bondurant in Des Moines. It was wonderful to be able to reconnect with families since the last time I have personally painted was on New Year’s Eve.. I rarely have an opportunity to take a photo, but I did take time to capture this mother/son zombie duo. I love it when parents become involved with the kids!

LOCAL MODELS WANTED - to be Face Painted in my home this Saturday, 9 AM - Noon. Kids, Teens, adults. A group of 4-6 professional face and body artists are having a "jam" this weekend to further our art form. We are only making morning appointments for faces and it is FREE! We pick the design. The faces will be photographed by our photographer, Linda Turner to be used in our portfolio. I live on the far NE Side, between Altoona & Pleasant Hill. This has been an inspiring week for 3 members of my team. Pam Briant Moody. Sheryl Ebert & Gwen Johnston are in St Louis Finishing a 5 day intensive training for face & body artists and balloon twisters. I’m sharing some fantastic designs....most painted by others. Yesterday was a BUSY day for us! Twyla & Gwen were in Union Park face painting. Sheryl face painted & twisted balloons at a birthday party. I had the pleasure of painting faces alongside of Tom Gay who was twisting balloons at a birthday party with me at Echo Valley Country Club. A busy, FUN day!

We have the coolest friends here at Hamilton’s! Matthew Morgan wrote a book for a superhero named Garrett Matthias who lost his battle with cancer at the age of 5. We are a team of 7 today working at the Wakonda Club until 5 pm. 3 face painters, 2 airbrush artists & 2 fantastic balloon twisters. From here we will move to Des Moines Golf & Country Club where we will join with 4 additional painters to finish our night at 10 pm! Whew! Love the holidays!
