One year from now I want to look back and say “God prepared me for these blessings”.

Every set back, every obstacle, every breakdown, every frustration will be worth it. God will confirm that every good seed sown will be reaped. With faithfulness in praying and consistency in work, the reward is finally here!

Don’t skip the preparation period trying to make it to the prosperity season. The trials of preparing for what is to come is where you learn the most about yourself, resilience, and perseverance. It’s where you know if you are made for this! Good things come to those who wait on the Lord and are called according to his will.

Candid Conversations 🎙️ Social Media will hype you up that entrepreneurship is just the success. Don’t fall for the trap🪤. Being a business owner is not easy and you have to be prepared mentally, financially, and emotionally. If you have a 9-5 career that you enjoy, KEEP IT! Keep that steady income, those benefits, insurances and leave the headache to someone else! I don’t hear anybody saying you can’t be a wife/husband and a mother/father…choose one. That is absurd! You do it and hopefully delight in both. No but for real, if you find fulfillment in both your 9-5 and your creative business just figure out a way to do both and create balance in your life. As humans, we are multi-faceted and can do multiple things. It’s not different in career/business.Do you work a 9-5 job?

Often, I encourage my weddings clients to create depth and dimension in their wedding design by doing a variety of centerpieces. This draws the eyes to many details and makes sure that the room doesn’t fall flat.

Here are some recommendations for your wedding day:

1. Incorporate some elevated floral centerpieces that are grand statements throughout the room and draws attention in height. This is especially great for venues with high ceilings.

2. Add candle centerpieces as they not only help with cost, but also bring in an intimate and romantic feeling with a low light setting. Perfect illumination to the tables as the lighting dims in the room throughout the reception

3. If you have an estate/kings/or family table, do something different to make those special people in your life stand out. It can be a mix of candles and florals to cohesively tie in the look of the reception space

From Ceremony ➡️ To Reception

Our 8ft Moongate Arch went from a Ceremony Stunner to a Reception Focal Point in about 45 minutes 🤯. It looks beautiful in both settings and provided a gorgeous backdrop for photos for our couple 🤍

The custom backdrop that I designed was the final stop on the voyage. Marking a time stamp in history, that is Juneteenth. The colors and geometric shapes is a symbol of black freedom.
