📣Important Update for Veteran ID Card Holders

To help our fellow Veteran ID card holders, the Northeast VA administrator will be available at VFW Post 857 to assist with updating your cards and taking pictures for new ID cards, which will be mailed directly to you. The reason is that all VA ID cards have expired, according to our local VA administration.

This event is scheduled for Monday, November 11, 2024, at 1:00 PM UTC at VFW Post 857.

Veterans Day! November 11th.
Join us at Memorial Park at 10:30 for our rememberance ceremony. Please arrive by 10:45 am.

Following the ceremony, VFW 857 will be providing all types of soup for all veterans and their family and friends. All day until gone. 2202 W Main St.

VFW Auxiliary will also be having a bake sale! To benefit the Veterans Shrine on O'Day Rd.

"Soups for Veterans" on Veterans Day at 857! All types if soups are welcome! If you would like to bring in a crock pot or pot of soup to donate, you can drop it off Saturday or Sunday after 2 or Monday after 10. Be sure to write your name on your container!
