Halloweddings never disappoint!

This was last weekend in Lafayette, IN.

Beautiful, old theater, that was decorated with perfection.

Safe to say, we had a great time celebrating the newly weds and their guests in costume!

Never in a million years did I imagine that I would be working in the wedding industry, let alone 40+ weddings a year.

The last 5 years have turned out to be the start of something I absolutely love doing. Getting to celebrate people on their biggest day doesn’t feel like a job to me.

2024 has been nothing short of amazing.

2025 IS GOING TO BE WILD!

So far, We’ve got:

- 3 corporate events
- 1 music festival
- lots of more available dates!

Last night was, arguably, the coolest thing I’ve gotten to do in my career as a DJ/MC! (I thought I was prepared emotionally, but man was I mistaken!)

I hosted/emceed an amazing event put on by A Kid Again - Indiana Chapter at Sylvan Cellars Event Center & Tasting Room. Our mission was to raise money to help families that are going through health challenges.

Throughout the night, we heard a few testimonials from families that have been impacted by A Kid Again. Thank you to those families for sharing a bit of your story with us!

We were also lucky enough to hear songwriters/singers not only sing their hit songs, but also give us a story as to how their music came to life. These guys were amazing!

It was a no brainer when I was asked to help with this event! Having a past experience that directly connected me to an organization like A Kid Again , I was so excited to be part of it.

Through a few raffles and many generous donations, the ~100 guests in attendance managed to raise just over $67,000!

I can’t wait to see what we can do in the years to come!

Planning a wedding is STRESSFUL!

*Wedding Tip of the Day*

Book vendors according to their importance on the big day.

What does that mean?

- Some may say a huge portion of a wedding is the venue. It’s 100% necessary, so it should be very high on the priority list. Venues book out, on average, 12-16 months in advance.

- Another huge portion of a wedding is the entertainment. This can include flow of the day/sound/lights/special effects/photos/videos. This falls into the services of a DJ/photographer/videographer/planner. These vendors typically book out at least 8-14 months in advance, with the rare exception of a last minute booking. GET ON THESE BOOKS EARLY!

- A big part of a wedding is food and beverage. While being important, there are many approaches to this that will/can satisfy guests. So, it may not be as high in the priority list, like a venue/dj/photographer.

It is important to take time to find the right vendors for the special day, but don’t wait around!
