Do yourself a favor and DO research before you start dress shopping. Don't just book at every local Bridal Boutique near you...Take the time to see if they even have any styles you are interested in trying on.
Do their morals and mission statement align with yours?
What if that boutique have specific rules you might not understand or need more information on?
Do they have a cancellation fee? Do you have to pay for your appointment? What happens if you need to reschedule?
Do they seem willing to help you or are they just robotic and transactional? Only you know and can get that vibe!
At least here we do our best to be as understanding, welcoming and just like another part of the family!

Decisions aren't meant to be easy but they shouldn't seem impossible either..What we mean is yes... dress shopping SHOULD seem easy, it is a true breath of fresh air when you find your dream dress but the process leading up to that is only as hard as you make it.
Whether those decisions involve the dress or who you are bringing to your Bridal appointment.. regardless those decisions can be difficult to make. You don't want to hurt someone's feelings by not inviting them but you also know you don't want their opinion while dress shopping.
You don't want to say yes to a dress you have any sort of doubt about, then don't.. nobody is making you do anything at the end of the day.
The decisions about your dress are YOUR decisions. SO yes they can be difficult, but they also can be extremely easy.. don't let people fool you into making you think that saying yes to your dress is impossible or an extreme task.

"There were so many amazing things from our wedding. One of my favorites was our first dance to Elton John's "Your Song" since we had spent months going to dance classes and learning a routine. It was so special and fun and we were so excited to share it with our friends and family. We also did a flash mob with the bridal party to start the dance party. We had all learned the Boot Scootin Boogie line dance, had some cowboy hats and boots and surprised all the guests with the dance. Unfortunately half way through I forgot the dance moves, but all the rest of the bridal party aced it!"

What to look for BEFORE you book your bridal appointment with a bridal boutique..Check out their website, social media, google and see if their mission statement aligns with your values. Do they support the same things you do? Do they treat people the way you would want to be treated?
You would think those things wouldn't matter but believe us... we have seen the good, the great, the bad and the terrible.
Even if this is just "trying on dresses" to you, remember that you still are supposed to be given the best experience that you will remember forever!
So even if you could "care less" about dress shopping or you have been dreaming about this forever. Do your research, read reviews, creep on their social media's and make sure you would to support the boutique where you are getting your dress from because in the long run... we promise THAT matters.

Communicating with your stylists is everything!!!As badass as we are, we can't read minds okay. Yes we can read the room and pick up on some bad vibes. But if you truly do not love something about your dress but are trying to because you don't want to hurt your mom's feelings... TELL US. We can hurt mom's feelings! Obvi in a nice way, okay! At the end of the day WE have YOUR back, it doesn't matter to us if we need to let someone else down easy. As long as YOU are happy that is all that matters to us!

Why you DO NOT want to rush alterations..We tell our Brides alterations can take anywhere from 8-12 weeks, and yes we have seen them get done in three weeks. That is beside the point. You don't want to rush ANY thing to do with your wedding dress.
What if your seamstress is booked and you can't get an appointment with them?
What if you just pick a random seamstress and they actually chop your dress into pieces.. yessss it can happen.
What if you just put SO much stress on yourself to "hurry" that you gain or lose weight and start to destroy your body. That is NOT healthy.
Please, do not put that kind of stress on yourself.. take the time to make sure the job is dome professionally and correctly!!!

It is really easy to get caught up in feeling like you have to pick your friend from school just because you have been friends for years... well you don't have to do anything!

The two words that send shivers down our back… DRESS REGRET🥴 It’s like that scene in Lion King where the hyenas jokingly say “MUFASA” and they all giggle shiver…imagine that noise when we hear those two words! First things first, dress regret is real and there are numerous factors that play into having ACTUAL regret. Were you pressured by your family to say yes? Was it your sixth appointment and everything inside you wanted to quit so you blurted out YES? Did you have a pushy stylist and have no choice but to say yes?!🤬 (not in our shop, literally makes our blood boil) Whatever the case may be, let this ease your mind. You are not alone! A little secret, I still go back and look at the pictures from when I tried on wedding dresses 3 years ago. The one I picked is STILL the one✨ Y’all, there are SO MANY beautiful dresses out there. And honestly, there always will be. Designers come out with a new line of dresses every spring and fall! Our advice to you, stop looking! When you find the one, just stop looking. You’ve found the one in your significant other, are you still looking for something that “might” be “better”? No, quite honestly that sounds a little crazy right? A few questions we will always ask our brides that are on the fence about a dress is, IF you aren’t going to say yes to this dress, will you be going to other shops looking for a dress just like this? Will you be searching for the moment we just had in another dress? If the answer is yes, you will be going to other shops looking for a dress just like this and searching for the moment we just had, than going to those other shops is just a waste of time. You’ve already found your dress and trying on more will only confuse you! Did you know is takes 6-8 weeks for wedding dress alterations? That means if your wedding is in 2021 or at the beginning of 2022, you need to get your dress ASAP!
