Accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music, the School provides professional training for performers, teachers, scholars, and composers at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. In addition, recitals, concerts masterclasses, and workshops by visiting faculty and guest artists enrich the regular curricular offerings. TCU’s award-winning ensembles in the choral, orchestral, opera, jazz, marching band, symphonic winds, and chamber music areas enrich the students’ experience and local performances contribute to Fort Worth’s vibrant cultural climate. TCU’s distinguished, renowned faculty are leaders in the fields of performance, music education, scholarly pursuit, and conducting. These 73 faculty members are dedicated to providing the very best music education for their students, many who come from across the world to pursue their degrees at TCU. TCU music alums are active in all musical disciplines, enjoying successful careers as performers, educators, scholars, and composers.
