What a wonderful day it is!
Empty Bowls 2024 for Tarrant Area Food Bank
We served up a Classic:
Mushroom and Red Wine Gravy over Creamy Polenta.
Polenta from Waco
Mushrooms from Weatherford
Herbs from Azle
Microgreens from Willow Park
Olive Oil from Carrizo Springs
We met tons of awesome people, from other caterers to restaurants, food trucks and learning institutions. As well as all the wonderful TAFB staff and volunteers.
Enough was raised today for over 1 million meals through TAFB’s Ready to Learn program, dedicated to serving children in need by doubling their in-school food markets and providing educational programs.
