Do what makes YOU happy!!
It’s not about whether you have a gluten free option or not.. . It’s not about the gifts, or how many guests you have! Time and time again, I witness my couples feeling the stress of trying to please everyone and I will never tire of telling them that this wedding journey is about getting to one goal! One simple goal! To announce in front of all their friends and family that they love each other with every ounce they have and that they will spend the rest of their lives loving and doing life with each other!! Now, I know the details and food matter... I mean, come on, I’m a wedding planner and I freaking love all the details!!! But when my couples come to me and are panicked and wondering how they are going to make everyone happy, it’s my job to bring them back! Back to the place where they can remember why they are doing this!! And that my friends, is the absolute BEST part of my job! Getting to be a part of a love story that will go far beyond any wedding. Now, THAT’S something worth cherishing! ✨

New Year's Eve is always a popular time for proposals. Once he pops the question and you say YES... that's when all the fun and hard work of bringing your dreams to reality begins. Here are our top three tips for stress free planning:

3) Purchase a Wedding Planning Book to help you stay organized, on schedule and to remind you of all the little things that will make your life easier.

2) Include your future spouse and important family that is helping you pay for the wedding, in your plans. Remember that this isn't just your dream wedding, it's theirs too. You are all in this together and sometimes a few great (paying) minds are way better, more creative and less stressful than just one!

1) Hire the best help you can afford!! Seriously!!! The last thing you want are cheap (or free) pictures by aunt Martha the budding family photographer or to have Uncle Fred with his iPad following you down the isle... or worse, to have You and your Mom stressed out and arguing about flowers and trying to get everything done last minute before you walk down the isle. Pick the things that will be the most important to you "after the wedding" and hire professionals to do those things! Typically we find that includes your pictures, video and a coordinator to handle the details so you and your family can enjoy your Dream Day!
