The bees have arrived! If you are a City Club member, they are out on the patio by the Grill and are quite visible! They will travel up to 3 miles for pollen!

City Club will be open on Friday, February 19th from 9 am to 1 pm for the Fitness Centers. If you are a Fit After 4 member, you may come utilize the Fitness Centers during these hours. The Grill will be open from 11:30 am to 2 pm. The Terrace and Oak Rooms will be closed on Friday. We will be open for business as usual on Saturday during our regular hours for the Fitness Centers and the Terrace and Oak Rooms.

City Club will be closed both Tuesday and Wednesday, February 16th and 17th. The inclement weather continues to cause havoc with staff and members at their homes and on the roads. Please check our website on Wednesday evening after 5 pm to see Thursday's schedule. We hope the power stays on at your home and the water continues to flow without incident!

City Club will be closed on Monday, February 15th preemptively due to the incoming inclement weather starting on Sunday. Please go to our website after 5 pm on Monday to see Tuesday's schedule. Oops! I just noticed that I didn't update our FB page when City Club re-opened!

We are fully open now...still limited seating but all restaurants and fitness centers are open for business. Check out our web page for more information at www.cityclubfw.com!

On Thursday, July 2nd, we had a Club member and an employee both inform us that they had tested positive for Covid 19. Accordingly, we shut the Club down to quarantine the staff and very few members that had contact with these people. On Friday, July 3rd, we had 41 staff tested for the virus and if anyone turns up positive, we will contact any members or staff that had contact with them. We should know the results on Monday or Tuesday. In this case, no news is good news. We will be shut down for at least 14 days and will let you know when we re-open!

9 years ago the Super Bowl was hosted at the Cowboy Stadium. The weather was bitter cold that week and it was so cold that the valve to the riser for the Bank of America Tower that fed the water to the sprinkler systems all the way up to the 36th floor froze and broke off. Fitness Staff called my cell as I was visiting with members in the Terrace (3rd floor) during dinner to tell me that water was pouring through the ceiling of the Women's Fitness Center in the basement of the building. In a matter of minutes all that water poured down to the basement of the building absolutely flooding the City Club fitness centers. This photo is what I saw as I hurtled down the staircase to see the damage. I could hear the roaring of the water in the building lobby and knew it was going to be bad down there but had no idea what was causing the flooding. This happened to City Club on Friday, February 4, 2011. This is the Women's Fitness Center front desk. Fascinating times!!

GREAT NEWS!! The new Women's Fitness Center Entrance will be open on Wednesday, May 15th at 5 am! Please do not attempt to use the basement access because it will not be active on your security card. Go to the Bank of America Tower lobby elevators down to street level and look for directional signage.

Men at Work!! Taking down our graffiti wall in the Women's Fitness Center after a year and a half of construction!! The entrance to the WFC and staircase has been blocked so members were finding their way through the back, secret hallways of the basement of our building. The members and staff expressed themselves on this wall for months and months...very creative!
