Let me take your memories, old jewelry and metal findings and create a memorabilia for you to enjoy. Mixed media can certainly incorporate 3-dimensional objects and a combination (or mix) of media, such as acrylics, oils, crayons, pencils, stencils, stamps, inks, metal findings and flowers all on a canvas.

Herstory

Welcome to Uneek Dzynes! Tamara “Pokey” Channel has been a Mixed Media Artist for over 17 years. She creates 3-dimensional projects with an artistic collision of media such as textures, acrylics, wax, stencils, paper, metal findings, molding, and even fashion. She started her journey in mixed media art back in 2001, where she created flower arrangements with faux flowers and potpourri, created custom cards and invitations and altered Paper Mache objects. Her latest work includes enhancing and embellishing old and new photos on a canvas and creating timeless memorabilia for special occasions such as gifts for various cancer survivors, bridal canvases and family trees. This year she has ventured out creating her mixed media magic on Venetian Inspired and Masquerade Masks. Her work has been published this month on the front cover of Fleekque magazine and in other magazines. Let Uneek Dzynes embellish your moments and memories. At the Mixup & Mingle, you will learn how to lay out a Mixed Media Art portrait of YOUR OWN #SELFIE! You can also use professional photos as well.

Tamara, mixed media artist, of Uneek Dzynes, will guide you step by step through the creation of mixed media portrait. We will go over step-by-step how-to embellish your canvas. You will learn how to decoupage using various textures and mediums to create your background, and use stencils to add embellishments!
