Welp, we made it two days into clues about One Act, and the students already guessed it. (Aka they found a stack of scripts near my desk.)

Timberview will be performing The Yellow Boat by David Saar for one act competition this year. Parents will need to contact Mrs. Cannon if they would like a copy of the script ahead of auditions in November. 💛

It was a fun day of improv, Epic Waters indoor waterpark, and catching the amazing solar eclipse! Congrats to our kids for a superior rating and trophy during the improv class! And our very own Abby Deacon won the Outstanding Performer award for the whole class!

Today we gorged ourselves on donuts and chicken minis, colored in our custom-made OAP coloring books, forced our student hosts to be honorary Timberview kids, and left it all out on the stage. It was a beautiful day of live theatre.

We were also lucky enough to take home a few awards, including a 3rd place trophy! So so proud of our students for their hard work and growth.

Our individual awards were as follows:

Honorable Mention All Star Cast: DJ Silvestri & Brooklynne Ashcroft
All Star Cast: Aubrey Wilson

Perhaps most importantly, we got another day of doing the thing we love. 💜 What’s better than that?

Thanks to Kaitlynn, Bri, Kendall, and Ava in 6th period, Mrs. Cannon took home 1st place today in our staff Ugly Sweater contest! Our costume design unit always comes in clutch 😏

Our 6th graders just wrapped up a week and a half long Costuming unit! They studied fabric and colors, read and analyzed a play, and created a costume design for a character of their choice!
