EDM Meetup is the brain child of Jeff Langhammer (aka st1gma). In the late spring of 2012, he decided he wanted to throw a little house party for dubstep lovers and put out an online posting for interested DJs and aspiring ones to come join him. Long time friend and DJ, Eric One assisted with the event and they opened the doors of Jeff's place of business as a 'Dubstep Meetup'. Walking through those doors was the only other DJ that answered the online posting, TouF. With about 20 friends in attendance, the Meetup was born. The EDM Meetup of today has been a rapid evolution. Even with its continued growth, there are very high expectations to continue the EDM Meetup Philosophy. THE VENUE
The Foch Lounge is our current home. Located off of 7th and Foch, right across from Chimy's and Reservoir. Plenty of room to dance and chill! Come Enjoy the unique blend of beats, talk to the DJs, join us in the booth and learn the craft. We're here to serve the music!
