Eyas season is right around the corner. Time for that new bird. A new bird deserves a nice new block! Please check out the currently available photo gallery. Let me know if you see something you like. And as always, I do take custom orders/requests.

The molt is here. This is a great site for all you apprentices out there that are molting your birds. A great way to help identify the feathers you find laying around in your mews. Take a piece of florist foam and stick the feathers in it, in order (left/right wing and tail), so you can help keep track of how your bird is molting. At the end of the molt you can collect them all and put them in a gallon zip lock and date the year, species, and s*x, for future imping use.

So I received the best compliment an artist can get. A falconer that I made an oak block for last year contacted me and told me he was sending me a chunk of Cherry to make him a block. This is one solid piece of wood. He told me I basically have artistic privilege with the wood. It has a few cracks that will provide a challenge. Can't wait to get started!

Great bells. Give him a look see! I love the tone on these.

This company was very generous in their donation to the North American Falconers Association field meet 2013. Had a bottle of white and a bottle of red on every table at the banquet. I enjoyed the red.
Please help support a company that supports falconry! Rumor has it the owner is a falconer too!
