Such an amazing conclusion to our winter league. The playoffs were intense and so much fun! A huge congratulations to Daddy Sleeves on winning his 6th championship at the axe! It wasn’t easy for him with a lose to Donut and taking Jena-tell-ya to all 7 rounds and multiple big axe playoffs. Another huge congratulations goes to Jena-tell-ya on her 2nd place and one of the best finals we have had at the axe.

Next league starts next week! Come and experience the fun!

This weekend was truly something special! The amount of talent that came out to throw was next level. The physical and mental demand of this weekend was completely different than anything many of us experienced. But, it was one of the funnest weekends we have ever had at the Axe! All the competitors were amazing. Everyone was willing to help each other and kept the energy level up for almost 36 hours of throwing! I can’t say enough about all the individuals that came and also all the friends of the Axe that came out to support as well!

Huge congratulations to all the winners! PK was the overall winner and also won the big axe portion. The Jimmur won the standard but more importantly has truly established himself as an elite thrower. And finally, Queenie HBO won premier!

We learned a ton this weekend. Thanks again to everyone who throw, and helped out this weekend! Time to recover and plan the next event!

Day 2 is rolling and it’s going great. Yesterday PK won big axe and today the Jimmur won standard. Lots of personal accomplishments including Evans first perfect 81! 16 hours of throwing yesterday has kick our butts, but we are having a blast!

What an amazing league night!

First, Nan got her first ever 27! To see her progress from last year is truly remarkable.

Second, Jena aka “Jena-tell-ya” got her first perfect 81! She has been so close the last few months and it’s awesome to finally see it happen. Her husband Ryan was able to present her 81 coin in a very special moment!

GHOST UPDATE!!!!!

We have completed our first paranormal investigation and have confirmed that we have a ghost/ghosts!

One has responded to Henry. Also, with some research we have found that the builder of this block was Henry Konkle who is buried in Fountain Cemetery!

We have survived one year!!!!!!! Come celebrate with us February 6.

Join the Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, the Fostoria Area Chamber of Commerce, and Brent Ho**ig as they celebrate the one-year anniversary of In The Axe on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 4:30 PM.

The event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark this exciting milestone for the Fostoria community, followed by open axe throwing until 6 PM. Donations from the event will benefit the Seneca County Honor Bus, supporting local veterans.
