Can we show this queen some love? More and more my style is moving towards a moodier edit. I love playing with light and capturing a feeling. I want my photos to evoke an emotion when you look back on them. While no two sessions are the same, I look at each one to determine the best route to go with. I look at each clients, personality and general vibe as well as the location to produce the best photo. One thing to take in mind is a very bright outdoors. Location is not going to produce a high contrast moody edit. When looking at venues or spots for your portraits, really think about what you want your photos to turn out like.

I am here to help you curate the best photos possible. In your consultation, we will go over all of these questions and determine what direction we should go in. I’m always available for any questions you may have, even if you’re not ready to book yet.

We see how hard you’ve been working, and we decided it’s time to make you the star of the show.

Please be our honored guest at the Gilded Gala, a Gatsby-themed gathering intended to celebrate all of the hard-working humans in our city’s vibrant wedding community. Live art, big band jazz, passed hors d'oeuvres and wine, professional headshots, dessert towers and more are all included in your $25 ticket.

The festivities will commence at 6:30 on the evening of August 16, 1923. Come dressed for the occasion and don't forget your dancing shoes (slick-bottomed flats or low heels are recommended). Your hosts welcome you to come experience the extravagance you deserve at the Pinery at the Hill, 775 W Bijou Street. We’ll see you in the 20’s.

Andrew has worked to generate an amazing collection of cocktails to pair with our Chef's Tasting menu. Come see what Andrew is serving up!

Now, a bit about Andrew:

"Andrew is passionate about bartending and creating unique experiences for his guests, Andrew has sought out and studied under some of the best bartenders and worked at some of the best bars in Colorado Springs. Recently nominated Best Bartender in The Gazette’s The Best of the Springs, he has also been involved with a staff that has won The Indy’s Best Overall Bar, Best Upscale Bar, and Best New Bar. He is now seeking to open up Atelier, which promises to be one of the most memorable new cocktail spots in the Springs."

We are excited to introduce our chef for our 2023 Farm-to-Table Dinner series, Chef Bill Thompson!
Chef Bill has carefully curated Chef's Tasting menus for each of our dinners this summer using all local ingredients! We can't wait for you to experience his amazing creations, but in the meantime get to know Bill:

"My name is Bill Thompson I’m a Colorado Springs native born and raised on the cities Westside. I have been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years cooking and working in some of the cities finest restaurants and country clubs. Marigolds café, The Famous Steak House, Garden of the Gods Club, to name a few and the Cheyenne Mountain Country Club where I spent a majority of my career as Executive Sous Chef for well over a decade. Currently I assist in operating a small catering and meal prep company called Chef in Boots LLC. Where we offer weekly meal prep and delivery, custom catering and private chef services. I also serve as Vice President on the board of directors for The American Culinary Federation Pikes Peak Chapter where we encourage professionalism and excellence in chefs, mentorship, continued education and certification, empowerment through food and passing knowledge to the next generation of young cooks and chefs. I’m excited to be working with the Frost family to bring you a culinary journey of everything they grow and produce here on the ranch. It’s and honor to be able to cook and enjoy some of the finest products the region has to offer. One of my favorite chefs Marco Pierre White has a famous quote that goes “Mother Nature is the true artist and our job as cooks is to allow her to shine”. Please come and enjoy the fruits of The Frost family’s labor and everything Mother Earth has to offer! See you all soon on the ranch."
