What should your child wear for their heirloom or milestone session? Here are three tips. 💡

1. Choose Traditional Heirloom Clothing -
Opt for classic Southern styles, such as:
- Smocked dresses or bishop dresses for girls. Delicate lace, hand embroidery, or pintuck details
- Jon Jons for boys bonus if it involves a peter pan collar
- These pieces photograph beautifully and reflect the Southern heirloom aesthetic rooted in tradition.

2. Stick to Soft, Neutral Colors
Go for light, timeless tones like:
- White
- Ivory
- Pale blue
- Blush or soft pastels
- These colors enhance the innocence and simplicity of heirloom photography and work well with natural light and vintage-inspired backdrops.

3. Keep Accessories Simple & Elegant
- Less is more. Think:

What a magical time it was at the Four Oaks Christmas Parade on my sweet little corner of Main St! 🎄✨ The holiday spirit was truly alive and well. The sound of bells and music, the smiles of neighbors, and the joy of seeing familiar faces made it a perfect morning. So grateful to be part of such a wonderful community!
