Tomorrow - October 24th, from 4 PM to 6:30 PM, at City Hall! The City of Framingham is thrilled to announce the return of its highly-anticipated 4th Spooktacular event, a spine-tingling Halloween celebration like no other!

Get ready to trick-or-treat your way through the Memorial Building as we open the doors to families and residents in late October for an enjoyable evening.

This family-friendly event encourages parents and children to come together and participate. It's a fantastic opportunity to engage with your local government and have a little fun in the process. Come dressed in your favorite costume, and get ready for an evening of entertainment and lots of candy.

Laura, FHC Director of Programs & Education started off the week welcoming Framingham 3rd graders to Village Hall on The Common for their annual field trip to the Framingham History Center. We’re excited they get to explore the Village Hall on the Common and our two other historic buildings, the Academy Building and the Edgell Memorial Library.

Anchoring the eighteenth-century village of Framingham Centre, Village Hall on the Common is surrounded by a tree-lined historic common, museums, beautiful churches, and gracious homes. This dramatic Greek Revival building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and offers a classic venue with all of the modern conveniences necessary for your wedding, bar mitzvah, business, or other event for up to 180 guests.

Village Hall on the Common is currently under the stewardship of the Framingham History Center (FHC) – a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the City’s most historic properties on the Centre Common. The FHC also oversees the Old Academy and the Edgell Memorial Library which house displays of a rich collection spanning four centuries of Framingham history.
