39 years ago - it was my turn to be gathering everything and heading to the church - where I would marry my rock! We have been thru it all - good times, bad times, sickness and health, and even so much more... Happy Anniversary Gary! I'd choose you again - If God gave me the chance to do it all again - I'd carefully consider every choice and then, I'd listen to my heart and I'd choose you again. (Sang by the Forrester Sisters)

Sometimes, when you feel like you've been working so hard - for so many years - and never going to finish - photos pop up and remind you of just how far you have come.
Today, it's a few pictures of when we remodeled the Manor - 10 years ago! The old lathe and plaster has been removed and new drywall is up in the first picture. (This is the main floor, were we opened up the stairway)
In the other photos, the carpets and other floor coverings have been removed, and progress was being made as we cleaned them down to their original glory! (all the white you see on the floors was a paper underlayment for the flooring that had been installed over the hardwood. Many, Many hours were spent on our knees, with gloves and chemicals cleaning the floors) So very thankful for a great group of high school boys, David Saltsman, Corrie Hauptli, of course my amazing husband, and many others - for all their help in this phase of Meadow Springs Manor.

This Couple! Sometimes, it just feels like lifelong friends... When we met the Bride and Groom 2 years ago, we knew this would be a great wedding. Their friends and family were just as wonderful! (and to start it all off, he proposed at one of my favorite places - Disney World!) Feeling very blessed, once again.

It's (Finally!!) Wedding Week for these two beautiful people! We met Joy and Shane in August of 2021 and have had 2 wonderful years working with them to plan their special day! Can't wait to celebrate with them this weekend. (We are blessed with the best couples to work with.)

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU to everyone who still came out in the drizzling rain yesterday to support our Senior Meal Program. (And those of you still buying breakfast after the rain stopped and the sun came out) WE SOLD OUT OF BREAKFAST!

We are proud to say that we are 2 and half years strong in delivering weekly, freshly prepared meals to an average of 45 Senior citizens weekly! And even with rising grocery prices, we have maintained our package cost of $30 per week - from day one. Your support helps us keep this going. We appreciate each and everyone of you.
