Sometimes I just let my kids lead their shots. It usually means outfits I wouldn’t pick, but there’s something so special about letting them embrace their own style!!

This new brand has been a work in progress for SO long! Honestly it’s SO much more than a brand. It’s a freaking MISSION.

When I first started shooting bo***ir, it just clicked (no pun intended 😂). It felt right and I quickly realized that I could somehow smush my social work world and my photography world together to make one pretty incredible experience.

I knew what I wanted the end product to look like, but instead of trusting myself I spent so much time and money trusting what “the pros” said to do.

Have you ever done this? Shied away from what your gut is telling you because it doesn’t look like what everyone else is doing?

Don’t get me wrong- I will always believe in investing in myself and my growth and my education.

But this time, with this brand, it’s my time to believe in myself and my mission unapologetically. This is NOT like everyone else and I am here. for. it.

I’ve been searching for the perfect photo to use for International Womens Day and when I came across this one I knew it was it. It’s not perfectly posed or composed or perfect lighting, but it is a moment in time was I felt so freaking proud to be surrounded by strong, powerful, well rounded women!!

Every woman in this photo has inspired me in their own ways and when I’m in their presence I am truly the lucky one.

you have taught me how to hold true to my values regardless of the crowd.
