TITLE “The most meaningful photo ever taken“
Some sessions stay with you forever.
This one was for my dear friend — a mother who has endured the unimaginable loss of her daughter to a senseless act of violence. Her daughter once babysat my own little girl, and I can still remember her warmth and kindness. I loved her. We loved her.
When my friend reached out, she wanted to recreate a photo her daughter had once taken — not as a copy, but as an authentic tribute. Together, we revisited that moment, not to replace it, but to honor it.
As the shutter clicked, it felt like time paused. The emotion, the strength, the love that filled the air… I’ve never felt anything like it behind my camera.
This is, without question, the most meaningful photograph I have ever taken.
A reminder that even in grief, there can be beauty. Even in loss, love never leaves. 💔
